Aisha Jamila hinds is a popular American actress. Her most well-known role is the roles she played in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she made her debut as an actor in 2003. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to draw her notice. The performance she made in the biographical film All the Way as the woman's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to be noticed by the public. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 was renewed for the third installment from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has completed filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is due for release mid-2019.
