Marcia Harvey
Marcia Harvey is an African American
author. Her most well-known work is for her ex-wife of comedian Steve Harvey.
She chose to keep her private life private and out of the public eye. Even
though Steve did not have anywhere near the level of success that he has now,
they were married for fourteen years. It is unknown what caused the split,
although Hollywood has heard of rumors about it. Some accuse Steve Harvey of
cheating, and others blame him for deciding to pursue comedy as his profession.
Her tragic life is attributed to Steve's abandonment of her as well as her two
daughters as she was pregnant with her third baby. Despite the hardships she
has faced she has managed to make an excellent career in fashion design as well
as writing. She is the author of "Marcia's Eyes To The Soul, 'Marcia's
Poems From The Heart, and Marcia's Thoughts From The Heart. Her children are
inspired by her generosity and kindness. Marcia Harvey was born to an
African-American family. They did not have a lot of money. She began her career
at an department store called "Saks Fifth Avenue'. Steve met her at a
friend's wedding reception. They met and fell in love. They were married in the
year 1980. Steve was working as an insurance salesman at the time and the
couple was blessed with twin girls in 1982. But, by the time they were born,
Steve was beginning to get disillusioned with his work and was looking to make
an entertainment career and stand-up, specifically stand-up comedy. He and
Marcia were unable to get together, and reports indicated that they'd lived
separately since 1990. Marcia Harvey was famous for her divorce from Steve
Harvey and marriage. The circumstances leading to the divorce of Steve and
Marcia in 1994 are largely kept private, there is no denying that Marcia was
pregnant with their third child at the time the marriage fell apart. Marcia
eventually filed for divorce in 1993. After her divorce and Steve Harvey's
refusal to pay alimony and child support, Marcia was forced to take legal
action.
